Spotlight: Colette

COLETTE HINCHCLIFF

Colette is from Pleasant View, UT (near Ogden). She has one older sister and two older step-sisters, and a brother on a mission in the Philippines. Her family used to go to Lake Powell ("For those of you who have never been, it's pretty much heaven on earth") every summer together. If she could travel anywhere in the world, she'd go on a world tour: First to somewhere tropical to relax and not think about teeth, then to a Latin country where she'd live until she spoke fluent Spanish, then to Italy to eat a lot of pizza and gelato. She also wants to visit Havasupai Falls in AZ. But, she hasn't travelled a lot yet. The first time she saw the ocean, left the country, or even saw a big city was last February. She has been to Mexico to visit orphanages in El Sauzal. Colette loves summertime; she likes playing soccer, hiking, camping and being outside. She also likes to cook and hang out with friends. Colette is a talented organizer. She loves spinach, paninis, pesto and indian food, and she has never had caffeine except a sip of a Coke once! She likes watching fun movies with a big group of friends, and she loves chick flicks. She hasn't read just for fun much since HS, but she loved The Scarlet Pimpernel and To Kill a Mockingbird. Her favorite Disney character is Kronk from Emperor's New Groove. Colette says the Ultrasonic scaler changed her life, it's now her favorite. After school she wants to get her Bachelor's in hygiene and move out of state. She might also like to do humanitarian work with hygiene at some point.
